Going strong since December 13, 2000...

Love fantasy and writing but hate restrictions?

Looking for a stable and friendly role-playing community that has withstood the tests of time?

Well, here you go!

A high fantasy RPG filled with medieval goodness and a dash of science fiction, Spirits of the Earth values and encourages creativity. As such, we welcome all sorts of characters, whether they are animal, humanoid, or of a species created by you, and plots are diverse and player-driven. If you have a story to tell, or have any ideas or concepts you’ve been itching to explore, you can most certainly tell it here. Spirits of the Earth was created as an outlet for writers and role-players of all types and as such there really aren’t a lot of restrictions; we believe in allowing our members all the freedom they need to create fun and epic plots and characters!

As an added bonus, the site’s been going strong for over six years now with no hiatuses or shut-downs, so you don’t have to worry about the game dying or vanishing. You can rest assured that it’s a stable community that’s going to be around for a good many years to come! We’re also completely advertisement free. Spiffy, eh?

Anyway, enough talk! Come on in, and don't be shy! We're a big place, but we're friendly and fun-lovin' and certainly don't bite (we might nibble a bit), so don’t be afraid or intimidated! If you love role-playing, we’d love to have you.

Spirits of the earth has been around for a long time. I'm somewhat familiar with the forums and they look promising.
The world is an arena, not a stage. RP is a stage, not an arena.
