At the Ruins of Madness

Post by The Raven Basilards » Fri May 08, 2015 7:56 pm

Availability: Well I mean. If you can actually think of a reason for your character to be in the middle of an eldritch, hostile, horrific jungle far from civilization, then first: congratulations and second: maybe?

Posting Speed: I'm just going to write standard here. Realistically, probably once a week.

Characters Involved: The Raven Basilard and Kuyeix

Thread starting date: 122PW Winter

Location: I guess it is closest to Tian Xia, even though it is outside the border.

Summary: A violent shipwreck has left Kuyeix stranded on the coast of the Indian jungle, with no company beyond the presence of a talking knife with an agenda of its own: reach Marn at all costs. The two will have to work together to make it out alive, and might not emerge unscathed after witnessing the terrors within...

Other Notes: None
Whoops, I made an immortal. You guys better ban me before it is too late.

Okay so some quick names for later use, from the brain of Jason:

The jungle is called the "Jungles of Tenga"
The locals call the landmass and the jungle together "Aatanghara" (This includes livable spaces outside the jungle)
The Eyropans call the landmass under the jungle "Cape Król"

Due to the obvious difficulties of exploring the place, assume the Eyropans were uncertain about the actual size and named it that before more information was available.

(00:26:09) Katona: The Tenga name probably came from a more anthropological source, or through stories, as a bastardization of the actual name.
(00:26:56) Katona: The new indians do trade, but a lot of it passes through the nomads.
Whoops, I made an immortal. You guys better ban me before it is too late.

Some inspiration I found when I was looking at pictures to help with description. Some are from Sri Lanka and surrounding islands, but eh, same difference for our purposes.
