Aurelio's eyes followed Ivone as she moved to the door, but soon returned to see Andras and Haneul leave. "I would like to arrange a strategic meeting with you, both of our schedules permitting. I must check with my secretary," new secretary, "but I will return to you with a date and time. Does that suit?"

His face was turned towards Shanuri, but his eyes strayed once towards Ivone. He remained perfectly pleasant.

Ivone didn’t open the door immediately. She waited for the others to leave. It wouldn’t make sense for anyone to see the other three in the room, especially if she was the only one to enter by the door. Really, she wasn’t sure if Shanuri had come through the door or the tunnel.

Ivone arched a brow at Andras’ comment to Hanuel. He was nice to look at – a change from Aurelio’s lean muscularity - but the man was an idiot. He really must’ve been dropped on his head as a child. Hanuel’s reply was unexpected and an amused curve appeared on Ivone’s lips. She and Hanuel were too different, unfortunately, to form any sort of bond. Hanuel was a foreigner and a magic user and Ivone didn’t know much about her but that. If it weren’t for Paragon, they’d probably never crossed paths. Ironically, or maybe coincidentally, Shanuri and Ivone had a similar goal – the downfall of the Vyaduka family. Not that it really mattered. Circumstance made it so Ivone would never befriend Shanuri.

“Perhaps we should consider alternative means to get the drugs,” she murmured as Hanuel disappeared down into the tunnels. Shanuri, at least, with her pointy little elf ears would probably hear her. Ivone noted Shanuri hadn’t moved from her spot. Ivone also noted Aurelio did not ask her to stay. They must have private “things” to discuss, "strategic" things as Aurelio liked to put it. And, Ivone had just given them something more to discuss. Brilliant. The sharp pain of jealousy and hurt turned in her gut again and Ivone hated herself for it.

Ivone turned toward the door, hand poised to open it. She avoided looking at Aurelio or Shanuri. Teodinus knew what they’d get up to once everyone was gone, and Ivone didn’t want to think about it. She couldn’t. When Aurelio spoke, she kept her eyes on the door, back straight, with her hand resting on the doorknob.

"I have to finish some paperwork and I have a few orders to fulfill. You can find me either at the theater or my home studio. Forgive my abruptness, I have things I really must attend to. Good day, Master Aurelio, Miss Shanuri." With that, Ivone left.

In the dance studio, a few eyes watched her leave, but paid not mind to her presence. Ivone had regular meetings with Aurelio regarding the running of the theater and her craft cosmetics business. For her part, Ivone greeted the instructors and dancers with pleasantries as she crossed the room. If she didn't, talk would happen and that was something Ivone was hoping to minimize. Some talk would occur, of course, it couldn't be helped. People speculated that the pair had more of a cozy relationship than they let on. Sometimes they stood a little too close, but then again, women usually did that to Aurelio Merynir. So, maybe not.

Once out of Aureus Studios, Ivone walked to the Theater. It probably wasn't the smartest move on her part, the Industrial District had its layabouts (like Andras and his crew) but she needed to work off the excess energy and jealousy.

Shanuri raised an eyebrow, but said nothing as Andras and Haneul disappeared down the hatch. Something about the woman had made the hair in her arms stand up.

She's going to make you regret that, boy. And that's going to make all the rest of us just that bit happier.

She smiled at Ivone's comment, but said nothing. As Aurelio spoke, she nodded. "Sure. You know how to contact us."

Ivone excused herself, and Shanuri made her way to the hatch. Ivone clearly had some issues with Aurelio, and Aurelio was a whole issue himself. So now that the distraction of Haneul and Andras was gone, she was rather anxious to leave herself.

Halfway down the trap door, she glanced over her shoulder. "Meanwhile, don't do anything stupid. And for Changers' sake, do try to get a grasp of your own schedules."
