Summary: Ivone approaches the target of the assassination cell, one Judge Khayyam Vyaduka. Khayyam had previously invited her to dinner after she approached him at work to make amends for her breakdown in response to the death of her husband. Her long term intent is to seduce and kill him. His grandson Azuel answers the door.

I decided he knew her well enough to recognize her, but he's only seen her when his grandfather invited what's his name over, her husband. So Azuel wouldn't really know her much at all. Hope that works!

And I decided that she was going to beg forgiveness now and not before now

Should Azuel be on his last year of the university? What age would be reasonable for him to have left?

I just realized that he's not a guard yet. I hope I didn't throw in references to that anywhere...

Oh gosh! Just use our system. If going straight into Uni, then should finish around age 21 or 23?

Ok, I'm just going to say Azuel is on his last year then. That should work well enough. X)

Now to check back for references to his status as a guard so they can be terminated with extreme prejeduce.

Ivone is 20, just turned 21 in November

Is she really older than Azuel or are they the same age?

Also, feel free to move us through dinner. I imagine Khayyam will lead a Puradyne blessing or something.

And, furthermore, a more politically minded person might realize that Ivone has a little influence on Khayyam.

At this point Azuel should be 20, since it is two years ago, right? Yeah, "modern day" is 122 and this is 124, Azyel is 22 in 122 (heh) so he's twenty now.

And Azuel's eyes will certainly be narrowing in response to Ivone's recent antics.

Sorry for the wait, these end of the year projects are tougher than I though.Though it is a flimsy excuse since I really should have gotten them done over the weekend rather than play nerdy board games with friends... Anyways. I've got about two more weeks of school and don't anticipate (emphasis on the speculation there) any trouble for my finals because they (bar one) are online.

Do you mind if I focus on Making Amends when/if I find the time? It's probably the most plot critical of our threads.

Ok, I'm running into a problem where Azuel basically wants nothing to do with Ivone at this point since she's crashing through his comfortable little world. Fast forwards to the time they walk back together and Azuel won't be able to hide from interactions, or do you have plans for something in the day that you'd like Azuel to experience?

No plans. I expect Ivone will say goodbye to Khayyam and surpise him with a warm hug and a busk on the cheek and a look with those deep blue-violet eyes as she says she hopes they might have lunch or maybe even the theatre, soon, given her request for business advice. Guessing Vyaduka's don't do hugs much. Hoping that will be the start of the thawing of Khayyam's heart.

then we can fast forward to current times, glossing over the number of dates to the point where he gives the "I know I am not a young man" speech and proposes.

Thinking Khayyam should die when? Based on the other thread with the Morrington death, it will have to be after that. Maybe in the aftermath of maybe of or before the bombs?

maybe even 5 mos later? Not sure...
