My friend's soon-to-be-ex leaves on the 15th, at which time she will move back into her place. She's needing a lot of attention and support right now; most days after work I am listening to her and helping her make decisions, as she's really overwhelmed (she had to buy a new car, deciding between positions at work, and considering her own schooling situation among other things). That and everything else (morgan's brother will likely be moving in longterm, after she goes, to help him get on his feet) means that I am not feeling like posting during lunch break (most of the time I just sit there sorta dazed eating and watching some brainless show or competitive esport). I've got a girls' night thing this weekend for friend 1 and friend 2 (the one who was in a breakup back in august), and I gotta use sunday to start on research paper, but my manager gave me monday off so I can square up stuff with the financial aid office on campus. That means a whole day to devote to myself and writing except for an hour or two!

Am hoping to get majority of posts then, and hope to have more me time through the rest of november. It's been really, really weird lately. More than I expected it to be, anyways. ><

Believe me, it's killing me too. I log onto Thar and am like "let's write!" but then I stare at the screen and my brain goes blearghublech. I'm not used to being this slow and it bothers me, but there is a light at the end of the tunnel! Besides, I know exactly how you feel: I've been in the position before where all I wanted was just one post, and didn't get any for a week or more. >< I just wanted to make sure you know I'm not just ditching you -- I want to post but the few bits of time I have to post I wind up feeling overwhelmed and sorta writers-blocked-ish. I certainly don't see this slowness lasting forever, I'm just worn out right now.

Because Kat and I are nerds, we keep posting each other songs that make us think of "stuff" while writing in this thread.

Here's our playlist that I recall so far:

Dixie Chicks ' Not ready to make nice yet' : http://youtu.be/pojL_35QlSI

Cursive 'The Recluse': http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JcFgL2qO9Y

Cursive 'A Gentleman Caller' : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wtyXvJHYXXs

Lloyd Cole 'Forest Fire' : http://youtu.be/1jZ8bxghB9E

David Grey 'Lead me upstairs' : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G84g_Z7PhiY

Bitter:sweet 'Dirty Laundry' : http://youtu.be/X5dj2CgZcfM

Bitter:sweet 'Get what I want' : http://youtu.be/Iez0KrNv3nw

Mari Wilson 'Perhaps, Perhaps, Perhaps' : http://youtu.be/YcgMyQjFGrM
