- From a descendant family, preferably one of the top 7 (not sehkhara).
- Helluva fighter. Presently a fighter in Hammer.
- Lost it all. His connections help keep the cell going.
Character ideas:
- Probably has a hard time dealing with his lost status.
- Difficulty with trust?
- Maybe has a hard time treating people like they're on equal footing?
- Has to lay low so he doesn't get caught?
- Passion for vengeance outstrips everything else?

Character details:
- All her life, she has been a good girl in a well respected, if humble, synevive family. Until now.
- Widowed. Married to a man she had been told to marry, she found love with him. He died as a bystander to battlemage action.
- But wait! That's not all. She miscarried.
- Grief and anger are what she's about.
- Young enough to not always think through her actions.
- Through connections of hers and the other members of her cell, they are slowly working her towards marrying a minister or judge in order to slowly poison him to death.

Purpose: Member of Shanuri's Hammer cell, bodyguard/Manservant to the Widow.
Name: Aurelio

Age: late 20s - 40s
Character details:
- A former frontrunner for high positions in the Ministries -- even maybe as a Judge when he was older.
- Synevive or Descendant(first settler) family -- more details to come with the write up on Marn social & political atmosphere!
- While he is not socially disgraced, he lost his standing and pretty much any shot to have a significant position.
- Tends to view life as a game. He's not malicious, just dismissive of others.
- He is training, perhaps has trained for hte last year or two, in the use of poison. His job is to work as a team with Ivone, to poison their targets however they need to.
- A fighter of some sort, but it must be elegant.
Character ideas:
- Does he intend to use the revolution for the sole purpose of gaining power upon its success?
- Does he have an alternate goal?
- How does he feel about his current, much lesser political position? How does his family feel about him?
- Is he entirely selfish, or is he devoted to Paragon in perhaps surprising ways? Despite his flamboyant nature, is he dedicated?
- Is he naturally talented, or does he have to work hard at everything to get to the top?

- Coordinator of Hammer cells
- Given a list of high profile targets to assassinate. Her cell is full of people who understand the upper crust, and a few who know how to settle things in blood.

- Perhaps a user of the fan as a weapon along with poison?
- Expert with infiltration?
- Maybe a registered magic using foreign family, her life has been hell. The Guard has seen to that, along with racist Puradyne neighbors.
- A clever woman who is an expert problem solver?
- Using the ins they gain, perhaps she intends to murder one synevive/descendant family in particular to right an old wrong?
- Stubborn, stoic, driven with an underside of serenity and a touch of good humor?
- Maybe has some experience as or still works as a courtesan to collect intel?

Purpose: Paragon Rat Cell, under Three. Infiltration specialist. (this character will have lots of interactions with the Guard in addition to sneaky threads with Three's cell!)

- Known for his cool and detached demeanor.
- Tends to keep himself separate from others, but is a consummate actor.
- A mole in the Guard.
- Professional. Dedicated. Skilled.
- Previously a quiet professional of some kind. His business and credibility were ruined after his business partner was outed as a magic user. He was caught up in the shit storm, and though he was cleared he found the people who had patronized his business for years suddenly wouldn't any longer. He had to sell everything. You could say he doesn't particularly care for the Guard.
Character ideas:
- Why would he turn on the Guard? Why would he infiltrate?
- Maybe gets along well with Miklos?
- Has he ever had second thoughts?
- Has his family shunned him?
- Does he believe in Paragon's message?

Purpose: Member of a Hammer cell under Shanuri. The player must have at least one character approved on the board, and playing for at least six months. This character is meant to be powerful and will be subject to extra scrutiny because of that.

- Sensitive to magic, also a powerful magic-user in her own right.
- Trained in Tian Xia. This lady was hired by the powerful and mysterious Lord un Jeong specifically to assist Hammer against battlemage incursion when the shit hits the fan. In the meantime she helps scry for her cell.
- Has to be incredibly careful lest the city's seers sniff her out.
- Extremely homesick.
- PM Kat about Lord un Jeong.

- Perhaps a wanted criminal in Tian Xia?
- Though paid, was her cooperation ensured by blackmail?
- Does she even care about Paragon?
- Does she have an alternate reason for wanting to be in Marn? Does she have a primary purpose and is biding her time while acting for Paragon?
- Is she perhaps opposite of the Puradynes and look down on those who aren't capable of doing magic?
- How has her prolonged magic use affected her?
