Well pixies would not have been an obvious choice for me but then again...my character hasen't seen a shifter or dwarf till he met Fayane or Breda, so i suppose that pixies are an adequate explanation of how the man died...(although you could all likely pin this on me now that i've opened the cadaver up and played with his heart~)

trip wire you wrap a coil of strong string or wire around two trees (plentiful in a mini forrest) so horses/people fall down and make very easy targets. Or you tie it up at neck level and have them slam into it neck(ish) first, which hurts a lot

Well it's not in Fay's possession list, so I'd assume not xD I don't see what she couldn't find some old rope lying about though. Or an old hunters trap, etc etc.
