Greetings all, I am Cinny, new to this site but not new to role playing. I go in and out of it every few months, but I like to think I'm fairly experienced after eight years of doing it. (:
I am new, however, to role playing on boards. Thankfully this is a pBp board, so I think I'll be fine, but the separation of areas in subforums tends to confuse me, so I'm going to try my best and get good enough at this that I don't become the annoying laughing stock of the site. x)

Hello all! I've been searching far and wide for a pbp game I can play during my breaks at work, and I'm looking forward to getting into play here at Thar. Reading your history made me smile - my first roleplaying experience was on EZboards! Oh, the nostalgia. It's been a while since I've done any play by posting, and I've been missing it terribly lately. In other words, I'm glad I found my way here.

I'm the crazy one who played underpowered characters while everyone else was running around with gods, so I think I'll fit right in here. Well, enough about me! I'm gonna scurry off to the Plot Discussion forum to ask where a new character might fit in best. See you IC!

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm still working on the character sheet, and I hope to have it done today. So far I've written everything but the history, which means it's only half done, if that!

Hey.

I've just dropped post 1 into the character development whatsit; thought I'd say hi here too. I used to PBP a lot, then life began to happen and my old site died, and I didn't really think to return until this evening. Looks like I've found a good place. I hope I can contribute to the same high standards of writing and reasonableness that I think I've found here.

I've got character and plot ideas coming out of my ears, and as you'll see I've started by creating a character context which I'd be mightily grateful for some feedback on. If it works, I plan to use the new group (the Roam) to bring in a character, and then build plot from there. (Perhaps a Roam troupe setting up camp just outside Thar Shaddin, tempting citizens with fireworks, trade, fortune telling, music and.... secret surprises.)

How does that sound?
