You like Roman history, don't you, Kyon? Hah.

Just to let you guys know, I won't be posting the next couple of days. Too much jumping around for Thanksgiving. I should be back by Sunday or Monday. See you guys then!

Haha. I'm not, really. I forgot why, but having the gang have a big roman influence meshed with the lore, so I've run with the theme.

While I'm here I'll put in my 2 cents. My idea is that Christof's friend started leading the group and they are looking for some crazy magic thing that will give them magical abilities that could contend with the Changers.

Also, my idea of Ayana would be that it still is a rich Native American culure, seeing as Eyropa left it alone. Everything about the continent would be a bit off, seeing as the magic is out of control there. The animals are all crazy looking and the people would be... Glowey or have no irises or something like that.

Anyway, these are my ideas.

Anyway, these are my ideas.
Running with the Native American theme, they were very spiritual and ritualistic. I don't think it would be too much of a stretch to make the natives very magical, in fact the land would probably be crawling with it. They would most likely practice very natural magic, I'd say, so plants everywhere? And familiars, that is, loyal animals of all kinds following each person around.

I'm kind of getting an image of very devout magical people, like small groups within the tribes that live on the barrier between the planes. Relating back to Kyon's ideas and some artistic indulgence of my own, these devout ones could be blind, having no pigment in the irises or pupils. The others could say they "gave their eyes to live closer to the brother spirits", or something like that.

Tell me if I'm getting too carried away...

Going to more recent events, I'm getting excited to just get to the new land. Think we should speed the story along? Just a couple of posts about the travel to Pretana and some about the boat ride and that would be good enough for me. The journey isn't merely as exciting as the destination in this case, anyway.

I like your ideas. On speeding up the story, I plan on getting us lost on the way to Pretana since my character's overly curious. My plan is to end up just a few miles outside Christof's hometown which is just south of Pedom Morini. Then from there we would head down to Trelham and set off to Pretana. All this can be done in fewer posts with a bunch of time jumps, which is fine with me.

Alright, gentlemen I have a couple things I'd like to discuss.

First off, on the boat ride I would like to get a fluid conversation between our characters. It's been a bit difficult with the format of our posts. My idea was that we all get onto chat and dialogue in realtime then have one of us post it in one big joint post.

Second, Christof and I were throwing around the idea of being blown off course and turning up In the bay(bad at geography so I'm not sure if this is the correct word) in Canada and finally making port in Chicago after fighting a giant kraken!

Well, I'll try to get on at the same time as you guys. I work and go to school both full time so my time is kind of limited. As for the kraken thing, I think it would be a good idea to ask if it is okay with the mods first, I'm not sure they would exist in this setting.
