Varian Marsh

Post by Vulgarth1 » Sun Oct 11, 2009 9:33 pm

Player Name: Vulgarth1
Name: Varian Marsh
Age: 20
Race: Human
Height: 5'9"
Weight: 80kg
Physical Description: Varian is more lean than muscled. He keeps fit by spending his time running away from angry stallkeepers that he's just "borrowed" merchandise from. Varian has hair as black as raven's feathers, and sapphire blue eyes. Varian has some scars, mostly from fights or accidents over the years. A rather impressive one curls over his left bicep, left by a drunkard's dagger that Varian had attempted to pickpocket some years ago.
Possessions: A small dagger, about eight inches long. Some coins, his clothes. He also caries a rudimentary grapple hook, which is essentially a rope with a torch bracket on the end. This is all kept in a sack that he has fashioned straps for.
Powers or Strengths: Weapon Proficiency: Dagger. Grappling Hook skill. Pickpocketing.
Weaknesses: Stupidly greedy. Varian often pushes his luck to the very limit, and ends up in situations he can barely handle, or sometimes ones he can't. Varian is also too lean to be a strong fighterm and doesn't have much stamina.
History: Varian was born in Marn as the son of a seamstress, who wove clothes for the ladies and lords of the city. However, she was usually outshined by her competitors. Varian, since he was young, was like a magpie. If he desired something, usually shiny things that made pleasant noises, he would snatch it, displaying an already well-honed skill at theiving items.

As he grew, and his jealousy and greed grew also, Varian became aware of the fact that his mother was far from the best seamstress, to which Varian attributed their poverty, and his love of stealing. Rather than blame his mother, Varian blamed her rivals, and turned his sticky hands to stealing their craftings from them. These he would leave on the doorstep of the houses of commisioners, with a note from his "mother", but were in fact his own. Eventually his mother began to wonder why she was suddenly requested to make ever-increasing amounts of garments and clothes for the richer folk, and why she was credited with pieces she had never seen. After some time, she began to suspect Varian. His dealings had not gone unnoticed, nor had his shifty behaviour. She confronted him, and berated him soundly. Varian flew into a rage and struck her a heavy blow. His mother was so shocked, she could not speak. She merely watched as Varian gathered up what little he owned, and made to leave. She begged and pleaded him not to, to think clearly for just a moment. He ignored her helpless pleas and fled into the night.

This was some years ago. Varian became a well-skilled theif, though he was still a far cry from the feared and rich bandit he envisioned himself to be. Since leaving home, Varian is still the same petty thief he always was, but recently, a new dimension of himself has manifested. Beginning to take pleasure in fighting and bloodletting, Varian has changed. Only time will tell what will happen next to Varian Marsh.

Wow, is this even a real app? It is all bunched together and lacks any sort of description for the strengths, weaknesses or possessions. His history, along with everything else, could use some more work put into it.

Also, I want to ask you if you read our rules? We don't allow anyone to have numbers in their usernames and you are going to need to tell us what you want your name to be changed to because we won't accept a character from anyone who can't follow our naming rules.

I just checked out the player information that you gave us when you signed up for an account and I see that you are 15, which means that you are going to need to talk to Fruggles if you want to write here as we don't accept anyone under 16 years of age without him giving a special approval.
