You guys can skip me in the upcoming round, also, since Jasmina still isn't really going to be doing anything. I'll try to jump back in the next one after that. :)

Hm, so I know we had some slightly different ideas on the table ming, but I was more hoping Dor would move towards the mage, not towards cerv. With her null field so far away it wasn't gonna help chrish, but I figured something out ;)

Well, she was going to travel towards Cerv, THEN change paths towards the mage when her cat ran off in that direction. I thought we had discussed that! So yeah, my next post, I was already planning to have her turn around and run towards the mage. Plus, her nulling power isn't exactly set in its radius, so it's not like she has to stand within a few feet of someone to have an effect. I have it worked out in my head that it sometimes manifests as a shield (like when she is calm) and sometimes lashes out like a projectile (when she is angry, as if to swat magic away).

So no worries, it should all work out. I just didn't start it all sooner because I didn't think you were ready for it. But I'll pull it out.

FYI, I don't anticipate Mina having anything to do until the combat is over, so you can pretty much just skip her till then. If I need to interject something, I'll let you know, but for now don't feel you have to check with me every single time. :)

There, I tried not to get too auto-y with my post, so I did something that I reckon gives Cervantes opportunity to squirm away or fight Dorcas if you want him to, but also pushes the action along so that if he doesn't fight back, we can assume Dorcas is outside in the next post. I presume that you wanted her to get him, so I hope the act of picking him up in a moment of diversion isn't crossing the lines of autoing.

I should ask, because I haven't been clear--when precisely did Cervantes switch back from fox to human?

He's been in the same half-human form since chrishton broke him out of the interrogation room. He never switched to full fox or to full human.
Cervantes was injured, either from the earlier wound or from the following combat. He was sitting on his rear, back leaning against the wall, with one hand draped across his midriff. There was blood on his face, just under his eye, and more around his side and on his hand. A big, toothy snarl that looked disturbingly like a grin parted his lips.

Hehe I was going to mention that the three of you each described Cerv as being in a different form. Frug says he is a half fox, Ming went with full fox and Mina went with his human form.

Yeah, see, none of that quote you put up there would indicate a difference between half-fox and human . . . Humans can snarl too . . . and then it's indicated that he CHANGES somehow when he and Chris about about to run into the tavern because he's all "Lol I am going to change forms" and then in the tavern he is described as a "gray blur," and after that point, none of the language seems to indicate clearly what form he is in. The only thing I gathered is that he was not in full human form, since he was gray. I kind of tried to work my actions around assuming he was a fox, but working with the idea that he might be something else. I'll raise a flag sooner in the future, if I'm unclear, since we seem to have different ideas of what makes a clear presentation of character.

Yeah, I didn't get half-human at all. The way he was acting seemed human-ish to me, and I took "grey blur" to mean that the blur looked grey because of the amount of movement, not that Cerv himself was grey.

Sorry for my confusion or if I didn't read carefully enough. I edited my post so that Jasmina realizes he's not human, but it doesn't really change any of her actions, since she has ample reason to be scared of him either way.

So, as suggested I edited my post once again (apparently what is "half human" to normal people is "anthropomorphic animal" to me) after Frug showed me a picture of how he intended Cerv to look. (Thanks!) Unfortunately, my edit may change things a little for Dorcas too, but it really couldn't be helped. Just FYI.

And to answer the inevitable question: yes. I probably would. If only to say I did.
