Thread starting date: A few days after the Gala bombing of May 19, 122PW.

Summary:
Lorenna Abernathy, recovering under Luca's private physician Reynard's care, gets a bee in her bonnet that her injuries were all Navarre's fault and decides her parents need to be convinced to break ties with Isyrion Vesurian (and by extension her allies the Marquelis family).

Luca, rather miffed over his own injuries (but moreso over the ruination of a rather beautiful ensemble) is inclined to offer his assistance in disentangling the Abernathies (including his stupid uncle and aunt) from Isyrion/Navarre's influence.

Luca, knowing Jacel is a useful fellow and loves making book from a good scandal, decides he is just the elf to get in touch with. Especially if Luca wants to try and take Isyrion down a peg or two while helping Lorenna.

Of course, Navarre isn't going to take any attempts to stymie her plans sitting down...

Nav, love the post! =D

One small inconsistency though: Lorenna isn't in any physical condition to be going anywhere, and their physician Reynard would undoubtedly stop her from leaving. She was hit pretty badly by the explosions, after all, with extensive damage to her side.

Reynard would stop her because the stitches would be at great risk of tearing, and she needs as much rest as possible, but also because they have agreed not to let it get around that Lorenna survived yet - which letting Lorenna go outside anywhere would kind of spoil.

Lorenna would however know that Luca will be returning that evening as part of their usual daily routine. He's been fairly attentive of her needs since the Gala bombings. Part sense of duty, part not being in all that great physical shape himself. (No dance parties for Luca just yet.)

With the next post or posts, feel free to timeskip if necessary. I'm happy to assume the letter gets drafted in a sufficiently clever way as to make Ashleigh potentially want to come storming over to grab Luca by the lapels and yell in his face. Nav, feel free to make up some juicy faux scandal+marquelis relative which might get Ashleigh all upset and proactive.

I suspect that, if we timeskip to Ashleigh arriving - assuming he does - that would happen in Nav's post?
