Navarre, a willing human who is currently the old scholar Madelynne, and Derin, an unwilling demon currently the human scullery maid Rosemary (isn't body-stealing fun?) could be each other's greatest asset, or biggest threat. Will they greet each other as allies, or untrustworthy rivals?
