Characters Involved: So far it is Kaillashann Maethlamae, Kurzaionous Blackthorne, Vexako, Cat, and Selena [MIA]. Currently the group is split up as such:
Group 1:
Alberto, Grey, Ko

Group 2:
Selena, Fallson, Jin, Shann

Staying behind:
Zain, Cat, woman, crying woman, man with sword, tarboy

Location: Currently the characters are crashed against an unknown mass of land in the middle of the ocean off the southern coast of Corezo.

Summary: Ship left Trelham on a voyage to Keltaris, but was attacked by weird monsters. It is currently crashed and on fire against a smelly piece of land that nobody is sure is actually land.

So I'm starting out just doing my own little thing but the offer for anyone in the area to join is still open.

I'm going to start Ko a little east of Shann and Zain, so they should eventually meet in the middle I guess.

I invited Immy to join us.

So what are our plans? We meet up at the bar and then what? Do we look around for ladies and only find the homely fishwives of Trelhan? Do we leave after that? Does Vex turn into a woman? Does Lawfin have any reason to to talk with Vex or Shann or even Zain?

I was thinking maybe there could be a bar brawl, and our characters get booted out together. Before that could be some wenching, perhaps, but don't guys usually bond over beating each other up?

The only thing funnier than ko turning into an ugly woman would be maybe turning into an ugly female gnome. Hehehehe.

Sorry my post is so short and lame but a coworker came in mid way and started nattering at me about work, and it's not even time to start work yet. ;_;

What all does a screaming fit entail? I just started my post and realized I'm not totally sure on the details.

well we discussed it in chat but I'll put it here for later reference. Zain's fits look a lot like that of a toddler that has been overstimulated or is really tired or hunger or a combination of these all at once. There is lots of kicking, some struggling, arms flying about, crying, screaming. It's like a big kid/young man having a bad temper tantrum. Basically he just can't handle everything that is going on around him and he's acting out/fighting for control.

Well, I have thrown in Ceallach's lot with this rather motley crew, so we shall see where this goes.

Hal, I think if Cheallach pushes the issue and tries to convince Zain that he should learn to use his sword properly that he might listen. Shann is just being overprotective of him at the moment.

I'm thinking Ceallach will more or less just let the boy make his own decision.

He states his case but would rather see the kid start to stand on his own rather than push him in any certain direction.

I think it would be an interesting dynamic to explore a possible mentor/pupil scenario for Zain and Ceallach as they are quite different characters.

I know it would distress Shann a bit, but the drama could be quite entertaining.

Right now, I have just put Ceallach at ease, doing the best he can to relax and also, exercising his vocal cords as the minstrel that he accompanied as a youth taught him to do.

This would be an interesting time for pretty much any of the characters to come into this scene and start to see a different side of the man that, at this point, they believe is nothing more than a hardened killer.

This could either become a contradiction and a source of confusion for someone or a good bonding moment.

I spoke to Hal the other day and he said he expects to get shipped out to sea very soon so his posting will most likely shorten in length as well as taking a little bit longer to get up. We talked about the general direction the plot is heading and future interaction between the characters and if need be he doesn't mind us autoing his character when it is needed to push the story onwards.

Oof, I hope the sea isn't too harsh. Ah well, understandable. Thanks for letting me know!
