Location: This plot takes place in the city of Marn, in the Residential District. The topic can be found here.

Summary: Rumors about the wealth and fortune of the illustrious Watergate family have been running rampant through the city for years, though no one seems to know where they got all the money from. The Watergate Manor, one of the largest and richest dwellings in the city, sits on a beautiful and scenic location in the Residential area of Marn and is both well guarded and defensible. The manor is owned by the strange and reclusive Sir Frederick Watergate, a man whom very little is known about, even in the less reputable circles where such information would normally be common knowledge. It only seems right that somebody relieve the mansion of some of its mysterious wealth, and who better to do it than some of the most skilled and talented thieves in the area? With a stroke of genius Ayden has come up with a daring plan to rob the manor and make off with the loot, but it remains to be seen if the plan will work or not...

Other Notes: Preferably players with a shady background or other practical skills in a heist, though not technically necessary.

I (using Acacia) would like to take part in this robbery. My character possesses the correct background and skills to be of use in such a situation.

Although he likes to think of himself as a good guy, he's mercenary by nature and wouldn't pass up the chance to make some money. His skills lie mainly in trickery and diplomacy as opposed to any talent for actual theft, though.

Yes, they are still needed - in fact I'm kind of waiting for more people right now.

Dirken seems like he will be a good fit in the plot, we need some people with a whole range of skills for a number of different roles so he's in if he wants to be. Just post in the topic, and if you have questions or want to talk about something just post it in here!

Charlotte might be a good fit. :3 if you want her, she'll take part.

A werewolf and courtesan. She's rather successful in persuading those of the male gender to fall at her beck and call. She's also skilled in hand to hand combat as well as with daggers.

Illae seems like she would be a good fit. She is a skilled thief, and used to working alone as well as in groups, as she travels with a band of gypsies. She's new to Marn, and this could be a nice introduction

Both of them are accepted into the roleplay, just post in the topic and introduce yourselves to the other players, once everyone is introduced we'll get onto the actual plan and roleplay. I'll post some more actual information (ie; details on the plan, maps, etc) once a few more people have posted in the thread.

I'm going to have to pull out of the RP this time. I didn't like my character as she was, and edited her a bit, and would like to introduce her in a different way because we can only be involved in one RP at a time. Sorry about that, and I hope your RP goes well, and that we'll play together another time!

No problems there Illae, thanks for the interest though. If The people who said they would participate in this don't start posting soon, I may have to discontinue this plot for a while, so if you said you'd participate can you please post? It would mean a lot to me.

Do we have a posting order to stick to?

Just so you are aware, I haven't rp'ed in a forum before, so pardon me if my tense's are screwy. I'm used to writing in the present tense. If I catch my mistakes, I'll edit my posts, if I don't, please don't point them out to me or think I'm stupid because I can't RP. It will make me sad. :[

@ Dirken: There is no posting order, but please try to make sure that you give other people a chance to post if you can.

@ Charlotte: No problems there! I tend to use a lot of present tense as well, or so Frug tells me. Not to mention this is my first actual role play on this site as well... It doesn't really matter as long as we're all having fun and you stick with it.

Has this storyline died?

According to their profiles, Ayden, Acacia and Charlotte stopped logging in during the month of October. If you want to try nudging them to post again, you could try pming them. It should send them an email notifying them of it. : / If you can't get ahold of them, throw your character into the available character thread! There are quite a few apps in the approval process atm, so there should be people ready for threads in the next week or two.
