Popping In

Hello lovely people~
I'm new (what a joy) around and has been reading materials since yesterday to acquaint myself with the system. It's a relief to find an oasis when one's creativity is parched by the structured RPs. Yay! ^-^ I swear I'm gonna cry if there are required training post counts here.
That is the bane of the poet!
I'm trying to come up with my character app. So, anyone who can give constructive criticisms are much appreciated. ^-^
Can anyone tell me if there is a fairyland in this world? I think I'd be making my character search for the hidden fairy kingdom.

I don't know what a "required training post count" is, so... I'm gonna say no?
That doesn't sound like anything we have. Once a character is approved, you can begin posting like anyone else.
Constructive criticism is always available. Once you post your application, weaknesses (if any) will be pointed out, and you'll have the chance to correct them. You can also feel free to PM one of us or talk to us in chat if you have something you want to discuss or something you want us to look at for you.
The closest established thing to fairyland is the Astral Plane. My character-- who is a fairy-- came from there.
The other reality, the astral plane, is quite different. It can best be described as a dream. In the astral plane things do what they want to do. A rock may very well float up from the ground if there IS a ground at all to float away from. Sometimes there is, sometimes there isn't. The sky can be blue, or it can have no colour at all. It can be cloudy one minute and full of stars like deep space the next, or there may be no sky at all because all one can see is a giant castle with stone walls and no windows. The astral plane is a plane of pure meaning. So pure that the average human would be so lost and confused there he might even go insane if he didn't have a guide of some sort to help him along, assuming he found a way into the the astral plane to begin with. Only creatures with the right mindset can navigate the astral plane. To them navigating the chaos is like navigating a giant dream shared by everyone in the plane. Some parts of the astral plane are horrific and nightmarish, inhabited by demons as old as time, while others are serene, peaceful or enlightening.

Yep, it's a relief finding none here (training posts). Believe me, you don't wanna know what it is. hehe. I kid~ It's a system that requires one to complete a certain number of post counts before your character levels up or gains a new technique/power/w.e. Gives me headaches keeping track of them. So, yay for the freeforms ^-^

Welcome to Thar Shaddin, Mariket, we are glad to help however we can.
The astral plane covers endless possibilities, so it can include a hidden fairy kingdom (or many fairy kingdoms, some related some not), it can include heaven or hell (serene and enlightening vs nightmarish/horrific and inhabited by demons as old as time), as well as formless magical chaos.
Our world is very open to player creativity, which is why so much of it is left blank (so you can create a home city or something without being contradicted by anything).

Welcome to our humble abode
As mentioned, we have no training time. Players are considered on "probation" for the first three months, which is just our way of trying to scare you into staying. A lot of people vanish and as you can imagine that is very frustrating. But being on "probation" doesn't affect you AT ALL.
In terms of powers/abilities, we judge your eligibility by two methods:
1. Length of stay
2. Whether we trust you with the abilities
It's really that easy. Don't be a power player and stick around, and as long as your character develops the abilities naturally or in-play you're fine.

Yes, do not call Karsimir lovely. The words you are looking for are handsome or shiny. Either will work, but both in combination will gain you brownie points.

Hello Marikit! I am Ro, another rather new member.
Not sure what Frug will say about your avatar though. Look at the rules under the "Your Account" section. It says no manga/anime/badly drawn cartoon ninjas for your avatar (Well it does not say anything about Ninjas, but I was asked to take mine down ha ha...)
Anyway, stick around a bit. I am just starting and this place seems cool. If you can, once your done your profile, see if Lyl will let you into the "Seeking Magic" plot. It is basically a plot for the newbies XD. But if you want in you should hurry since we already started.
Just trying to be all the help I can! Anyway enjoy your stay!

She will. The plot is still open to anyone who wants to join.
But of course, there's no obligation. Have a look around, and if another plot interests you more, go for it.

Yeps, I too got a friendly reminder about that. ^-^ I guessed it skipped my eyes when I was scanning over the rules. I just loaded what fits 100x100 from whatever avatar I had. Unfortunately, only one made it. Illegal one at that. ~lol
Seeking Magic eh? My rpc sure does seek magic. Hope to RP with you then. Thanks Lylessa.
