Hmhmhm, I'm thinking that maybe since Jer and Fayane are already in Marn we might split them up here and go into two separate threads and then have them meet up again later? (or if you'd rather stick in the forest for the action we can figure stuffs out, too)
I say this because it'd be anotehr couple hours to Marn, and there's going to be some shit going down for the group still in the woods; the woods group will be slightly behind time wise until we get them all caught up together again.
Also there's going to be some serious mindfuckery going on from here on out. I'm going to take some liberties -- if at any point anything I write isn't okay (or even just makes you go

), please please please just let me know and I will change it asap. Also feel free to put in your own twists -- what I have in mind for the pixies is as follows:
- The mounts and riders are real, but illusions. What's under the illusions isn't nice.
- The carriage is wholly illusion.
- They cannot directly influence the mind (ie, MAKE a character think a specific thing) but instead mess with perceptions and senses. These are beings from the astral plane who literally require magic to live. Illusion is their lifeblood. Pretty much the only way to defeat that illusion is by logic. For example, they're going to twist it so the characters
think they are hearing their names. Yet if, say, Breda hears a name that is more privately used she might grow suspicious. Especially if several things go amiss.
Illusion is one of those weird fuckery things. Some things the pixies
want the characters to experience might go haywire -- like the names. The characters will hear something that should be their names, but what they actually
think is being said isn't solid. That's not as concrete as, say, faking a carriage. Even then though, details might be off between characters (Saruna might see gold leaf trim, while Breda might see carved wooden detail). So we'll muddle through it.
- There are presently five pixies present who are using illusion to keep themselves hidden.
- Primarily they are being territorial over Melagone's body. Tanobi in particular, having disturbed it, is a target. What they are aiming for now is as much aggression as a form of sport, for them.
So um, before I post -- what do you guys want to do? New threads? Leave as is?
