Welcome new person. I think I read in you profile thread you were a published author, it says a lot about Thar to get your kind of RPer here.

Sorry - not a published author... I do love to write but I would not want anyone thinking I am of that caliber

I would be sure to dissappoint. Thank you for the warm welcome though!
From what I have seen so far, Thar is an impressive place to be. I just have to find a way to slip into the story somewhere...

A forum's only as good as the people who use it.
Fortunately we have some great people.

More than the average forum I'd say

Tis a very good crowd here. *nods*
Ah, it was Julen not you...sorry. I read something about a pen name; Falcon, and attributed it to you. Don't mind me, I have a high fever right now...slightly delirious.

Greetings!
I thought I felt my ears burning.
Since we're all hijacking this poor thread, I decided that I'd pop in an introduce myself.
I mostly write straightforward stories. To be honest, I really haven't done much role-playing (other than endless hours playing D&D with my sister when I was much younger). So I hope you'll all forgive my ignorance and feel free to smack me if I do something wrong. (You know I'll like it.)
The pen name issue is complicated. I am a published author -- just a handful of short stories in various magazines and anthologies -- but those are all credited to my real name, Kathryn J. Brown. The stories I post online are credited to my pen name, Falcon Bertille, because they tend to be...ah...how shall I say this?...somewhat
racier than the stuff I send to actual publishers. I want my poor aging father to be able to imagine that his daughter has some ounce of decency left in her.
Anyway, I'm really happy to be here. I've just started to read all the threads and character descriptions, but so far I'm very impressed with both the quality of the writing and the maturity of the players. And I'm having a great time in the thread I started with Aranel.
Love,
Falcon

Well, nothing gets censored here. I'm for whatever makes things interesting. Only once, on an old forum, did I ever encounter writing that was too twisted for me. And that stuff was going -really- far. I felt woozy, but got over it.
I dunno if this is clear to everyone who's joined just now, but the forums are on vacation mode until Jan 5th. If you're checking profiles, there's a lot of characters in there who just aren't used anymore. I need to move them.

I'm not really sure I want to know what person managed to write something too twisted for Frug...scary, scary thought.

^ I echo this sentiment. The only thing I can even envision that might be getting close is something to do with mass-zombie orgies involving helpless children.
And even then I'm all, "I dunno, would that really bother him?"
Scary, scary.

Ahh Lucian. You haven't seen anything. Bela's thread with Jenica was tame compared to what he could have done.
Although you're not that far off with your zombie orgies theory.

The character killed a baby in front of its mother, then cooked and ate the baby.
Me and the player giggled. Fruggles was horrified. Which, I think, is the more normal and appropriate response.

You would giggle.
Mm, tender.

I remember that one! That was insane. Those characters were insane... They were a good pair though... (^_^; )
I think I was just like, "Ew..."
