Any need for a battlemage on the government side? Ryxa would make a good opposing character. Just PM me if she'd fit into a thread somewhere.

So, Peppercorn and Eirene are about to be thrown into the mix here. It'll take some preliminary groundwork as the two characters interact, but if anyone has some government-side officials they'd be willing to throw at us when the time comes and start accusing people of being involved in this "rebellion", that'd be a great idea.

I'm not sure where I should put the Pepper/Eirene thread, though. Does anyone have any suggestions?

It's going get going at Peppercorn's leatherworks shop

This should be epic. Or at least an completely entertaining disaster.

Industrial or Downtown would work out pretty well.

Thanks Saruna. I'll get on that now.

So, Eirene and I have got a thread going in the Downtown section called Business Interrupted. Currently, its just a fight between two NPCs but the plan is to stir up some tension and then throw some rebellion accusations around. If anyone on the government side of the rebellion issue wants to start reading and see if they want to get the jump on Eirene and Peppercorn when the time comes, let us know.

I think the plan at the moment was to have a thief run through the shop and cause trouble, then have the authorities start making connections to the rebellion that weren't there and get the characters latched in. But, if someone is reading along and has a better idea, just PM the two of us and we'll talk.

Just thought I'd throw it out there :) We're still pretty en route though. A good time for advance planning, really.

Okidokies! I've updated the main post to include Eirene and Peppercorn. We're suffering from a distinct dearth of pro-government characters (one of the few who was interested has gotten very busy irl and ceased posting). Ryxa I'm trying to save to use as a bogey, someone who only pops up occasionally to scare the shit out of people.

I do always have Hanser and his goons whom I could put into play, he's sorta a paid informant for the government with a string of individuals he keeps on hand to do the majority of his dirty work for him. Otherwise I can do some asking around. The long-time players with characters who are guards have all gotten pretty busy with school or other life commitments, which is why no one has yet replied to your request. It's possible once the majority of colleges let out for summer we'll see a resurgence of activity. I'll also update the New Character Guide to ask for some guard/pro government types.

Apologies for the hiatus! I'm glad to see that this is still going. I'm still more than happy to use Navarre for the pro-government side if there's still a place for her in the plot.

*waves hand* I could definitely use a pro-gov character to recruit Tamaya.

Navarre got eated up by Pepper and Eirene. I was thinking though, maybe you could start up with Cathal if he's okay with the Rebellion plot line, and we could work out a government person to push them into spying or summat?

Anything works, really. The PM thread wasn't that productive. Once Tamaya is initiated, she can then recruit other player characters when needed.

Cathal? Wanna try your healing powers on a bear shifter?

Yes! This sounds awesome! I'm not really sure of the details or anything, but Cathal wouldn't be either. I'd love to get involved!
