I made my account yesterday and bumped into the chat to say hi, and right now I feel like writing a bit about myself.

My name is Petar, I live in Serbia and I am not so happy about it. I'm 22, currently unemployed but looking for work, since our country sucks in about everything, I doubt that something will be available in the close future. I play guitar in a rock/metal band, we do covers for now, but are planing to get a few our songs as well. Other that that, I play basketball, was active player, but now just for laughs and fun, English is NOT my mother language, but I do try my best, I love fantasy books and games, and thus I think that results me being here.

I used to play a few play-by-post role plays, one of them was on Mizzahar, others on some forums with my friends. Anyway, I feel good to be here, nice that people are supportive, and I hope to see some quality gaming around.

Hey everyone! My name is Katherine, but you can call me pretty much whatever you want. I've been somewhat informally given the nickname "Toot" already, so if you like that, go ahead and roll with it.

I'm a 20 year old trans girl from Omaha in the "good life" state (that's Nebraska) and like my home state, I'm pretty boring, honestly. I attend the University of Nebraska Omaha and am studying Creative Writing, English and Russian. I am recently unemployed, and hoping to amend that problem shortly. Let's see... what else... I was learning to play the violin, but because I had the instrument on loan and lost my job, I was forced to return it; however, once I get the money, I plan to continue that. I like to draw and (obviously) write, though it's pretty questionable as to whether I'm very good at either. I like to run, though I've recently gotten really lazy and need to get back into the swing of things. Oh, and I have two dogs, both of which are Boxers (pictures forthcoming).

This is not my first play by post, but it is far and away the most detailed and solid one with a dedicated group of writers I've seen thus far. As such, I'm happy to join the community and look forward to writing with you all!

PS: I'm looking to start a thread with someone and I'm completely open to ideas, so send me a message if you'd like, or look for me on chat ^_^

I'm a 24-year-old woman, online often known as Bianco. I'm from Finland, currently residing in Iceland. I'm a bachelor of English, and currently doing my master's in Coastal and Marine Management.

I used to play a lot of pbp fantasy in high school, first in chats, then on forums. Unfortunately those forums eventually died of inactivity. A while ago I started looking for a new place to play in, but found it quite difficult to find one that was anywhere near as good as the one we used to have (yes, I'm being unashamedly subjective here). So I was really happy to find Thar Shaddin. You certainly meet my standards, hopefully I meet yours.

Way cool! It's always nice to have people from countries other than the ones in North America. We appreciate people who hold themselves (and us!) to high standards, so be as unashamedly subjective as you like!
