So here's my general idea for how the next part of the thread is going to go. Not set in stone or anything, but it's a good starting point.
Katona, Toast, Darrik and Oleg will be heading into the tunnels to look for clues. After some searching, they'll catch sight of either a couple of orcrats or a suspicious character, and they'll be led into the tunnels to a point where Toast is actually lost. The idea is that the rat mage is misleading them intentionally.
I'm thinking that between when we leave and when the new guard shift shows up, Jacme could actually go missing? It might provide us some interesting future plot options, but it's not necessary if you all don't like it.
There's a few options depending on what we want to happen when the new shift shows up. The end result though is that we'll leave with either a better idea of the threat we're facing or some further lead to follow.
