So this will be the third time I've written this post, only this time I promise it will actually get posted.

So if this thread is going to keep going we'll need some kind of direction/goal for at least one character. Dragon is meant to be a parasitic character but I'm thinking of throwing in an npc to potentially help with pushing the thread into a new direction.

I think 'The door needed to die too.' Is possibly my favorite line I've read on this site.

We also need to up the posting rate, I think. We're barely playing at all here.

If it helps to find a storyline, here are Derin's goals in no particular order:
- attempt to train Dragon
- dispose of her dead father
- clean up her house and rebuild the rotten stuff
- get imitation bracelet(s) made, which means acquiring silver

I'm not really sure what we can do with Dragon in storyline terms. If he takes to following Derin everywhere then we might be able to engineer some conflict with NPCs but that's about it. I want Derin to meet up with Saruna's resistance at some point (assuming she's still doing that), so Dragon might be able to get involved there as a messenger or lookout for meetings. If he follows Derin to work he could become a fixture at the Golden Chalice, where she's a scullery maid. Derin's likely to put up with him if he isn't too bothersome because she sees him as a tenant on her land, which is a power symbol to her people even if he's not all that useful.

Kori's and my last thread involved fighting battlemages and fleeing the law, so the dramatic tension has lowered somewhat.

At this stage, Derin needs silver, so if we're really stuck an NPC (or another player; we could check the characters wanting plots) can easily hire her for a task.

Yea, we really jumped from a high tension thread to a very low key one. If asked, Kori would probably help bury the father, especially if Rosemary said he died from drinking and she didn't want everyone to pity her or something.

Yes. Cal forgot about the thread for awhile, and he's going to be going slow so the thread is moving slow, but it's still gonna happen.
