Aw man I would love to be involved but my character is about to sail half a world away and will be there for a few months :/ Also I'm pretty sure he'd get arrested if he stepped foot in Marn.

Ack, we are still open but as a quick reminder to our newbies we have a rule that unless a thread is a flashback (and we prefer to avoid those if at all possible), you can only be in one thread at a time. This is to prevent your character from being in multiple places at once.

Though, Talofen, since Breda is interested in this if you can convince her and Dave to somehow get involved with it with their current thread (or perhaps a sequel), you could work it out that way.

Ree is an employee of the Government, providing free medical services (yes, Marn provides free medical care) to any Citizen (and non-citizens).

Ree toes the Puradyne line. She doesn't agree with high-handed fascist governmental behavior, but also isn't up for mass chaos, either. She remembers the last time rebellion happened.

On a side note, I'm considering creating a recurring thread called "the doctor is in" so you all can interact with the Hospital/Medical staff. Seems like there are many opportunities for medical services!

Ree can also be visited at her home if medical services are needed. She does do house calls and Justice Center calls. Happy to make a cameo!

Just sayin'.

I'll wait until the thread is more sorted to make a decision. That or until someone in the plot approaches me with an idea.

thread(s). The one I think you'd fit in with will either be Cell Block Confessions or one of its offshoots. There are three individual characters without potential threads, but that's something I'm going to sort this weekend.

I may be thinking about this.

Here's what we got:

Saruna/Ran -- Saruna is winning Ran over to trying to help the rebellion

Kori/Tal/Anther/Rorgue/Chet -- some or all of the prisoners will be let go to spy on the rebellion. At this point Orsath will join.

Derin/Navarre -- Haven't worked all of it out yet, but Navarre will be pitting herself against the rebellion as they threaten her very way of life.

Egg/Rue -- Rue will be tracking down rumors and pressganging people into joining the cause

Aura/Breda/Talofen -- will discover a rebel, feel sympathetic. Eventually Talofen will be approached by a govt agent and double cross.

fay/jerial -- will be helping the rebellion. I'm still not sure who calls Fayane back, as Saruna still doesn't know she left, but we'll figure something out. Can either be in a separate thread or join one of the other ones in progress.

Still needing a thread:

Tamaya

We can either figure out a new angle for you three with a new thread (used as patsies to accomplish some form of vandalism?) or squeeze you into one of the other threads. I leave it up to you.

Basically anything works for me. Tam hasn't been involved in any threads yet, so there's no prerequisites. I'm all open for suggestions.

So, here's some stuff I can think of immediately --

Rue happens across Tamaya, and as she is essentially clueless, uses Tamaya for her own whims and wants.

Tanobi, being in Shim, might fit best with Saruna and Ran when they go back to Saruna's home.

Wulf needs to talk to Seiran to figure out what the plan is for that thread, and whether or not it could safely intersect.

Ooh, and there's the hospital too. We could get someone injured and have some interesting interaction between Ree, the Captain, and whomever winds up at the hospital. :3 Which, I think, should happen at some point.

Guile Markus is up for trolling the people of Marn.

I think this story needs a few more on the government's side. I'd like to volunteer myself for a second character. It'd be a lot of fun playing characters on both sides of the conflict!
