Steven was astounded at the feast set out along the table. He usually couldn't stop his brain when he to go to thinking, but the aroma was overwhelming. "I expected to come out today, and find that I needed thousands of Bishan, but instead I find a great fortune. As for being hungry," Steven chuckled before continuing, "I doubt even the most bloated of men after gorging at a grand feast could resist such cooking, and I know that I skipped breakfast this morning so that puts me far from them."

Aryth laughed and was consumed by the cooking of his fay wife. the day passed in merriment and joyous laughter. as night came down upon them through the skylight, Aryth spoke to Steven. "My friend, it is dangerous to walk about in this countryside in the dark. You should stay here tonight and join me by the hearth, i do enjoy a game of smoke rings, but my wife refuses to indulge. what say you?" aryth leaned back and undid one of the many straps holding his enlarged gut in. "Thats better..."

After a long joyous meal with his new friend Aryth, Steven was caught off guard at being invited to stay the night. He had been out at night many times, and hardly ever found trouble, but still staying the night did sound quite enjoyable, "I would be honoured to stay the night, but I must ask what you mean by a game of smoke rings?"

((OOC: If smoke rings is something that should be known to most people then just disregard that, and continue on by explaining in OOC, or if not then explain IC.))

Aryth had a cousin, who is of the gnomish folk, and he knew of the game of smoke rings. it was simple: while smoking a pipe, the players would blow rings, judging first by size and then by duration of travel, then the longevity of the ring itself. in the caves of his fathers they would use magicaly forged pipes to enhance the rings and would change the rules to allow for combat between the rings. but aryth was okay with the mundane version, though he had his grandfathers pipe somewhere...

"what... Oh i meant to say pipe rings, that's what my cousin said the gnomish folk call it."

Steven slowly imagined what Aryth could mean, and then realized he must be referring to what he had seen some of the older gnomes did in the taverns of Marn, "I must say I've never done so, but if you teach me I'm open for new experiences," Steven smiled, and prepared to cough for a good deal of the near future.
