At first I was like man, it's gonna be really hard to play a character who can't move. I wonder if he'll have enough to really work with? In most cases I, myself, try to avoid too much thought process back to back, as it can often get repetitive and dull. Yet, Corey manages to not only keep me engaged as a reader of what he's writing with this character who is essentially locked in his mind, but as the player writing with him it makes me eager to see what nastiness will come out of this rp. And for a rp I thought was going to be a one-off flutter of nothingness, that really makes me happy. Good job, man.
Wow. Just... wow. I feel naughty for liking it.

And this thread:
Feast of Scarabs
this is what I imagine collaborative writing to look like. Excellent segues from one characters perspective to the next. beautiful.

Look at me, I just can't believe what they've done to me. We can never be free, I just want to be free.

It's really easy to overlook natural consequences of the rough or risky way our characters treat their bodies. Even when we don't, the results can sometimes feel too forced or break immersion. Breda's brief look into her character Breda's position as a prostitute and the sometimes consequences really, really made the thread feel fuller and more real as a result. Plus, it's done so tactfully! Well done, in my opinion!
On the afternoon of the second day, Breda woke up with a throbbing ache in her very lowest abdomen, and an irresistible urge to relieve herself that sent her flying to the outhouse behind The Kitten. There she passed dark, foul-smelling water that burned like acid on its way out. That put her instantly out of commission, and on a disgusting, greenish medicine. She shared the following two days and a night between laying in bed hugging a hot water bottle, and whimpering on a chamber pot brought to her room.

Well, now I'm all blushed.

Generally I feel I've made Breda all too clean and decent for what she's supposed to be, so I wanted to compensate a bit.
(I also feel kind of bad that I don't have time to keep up with other people's threads. It's good to have this one to point me to the highlights!)
Never sigh for better world,
It`s already composed, played and told.

Have I mentioned how much I enjoy Sertor and his giant... Scutum?
this post with its Douglas Adams-ian similarities giving life to doorways worldwide was a fun read. That and all the gross snot.
hearts, hugs, and bubbles!

For some reason this line made me go, "Yes!" that is exactly like Tasza and actually helps bring focus on his character - more than the sweats and rashes ever could.
Formal, formality, protocols... perfect.
"Forgive, sounds good.
Forget, I'm not sure I could.
They say time heals everything, but I'm still waiting."

The itchiness is actually my ode to eczema, and my recognition of his iron will. I never could go more than a few hours when trying to avoid scratching the shit out of my skin during my worst breakouts -- how long he can endure it is a measure of his current frame of mind, and how badly he itches is an inkling to his stress level and how well he's taking care of himself.

The henpecked merc muttered "Well then, it is simple: we shall make you an uncommon thief", then planted a solid punch to the back of Fariq's head, rattling the base of the petty man's sneering skull. As the accomplished complainer crumpled down in the darkness, Ramon added "Sorry, unconscious thief, not uncommon. I don't know how I got those two mixed up. Sertor, can you lug him around? None of us particularly want to touch him at present."

I admit, I was a bit neutral on Ramon's fate . . . until this post. You sold me on him. I'm glad he will continue living (barring unforeseen circumstances that convince us of the necessity of his death).

Instead of simply disappearing into the depths, he turned to Hanuel and bade her, “Come along, guard dog. Heel.”
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH. I felt that burn.

NECRO!
He shook his head, crossing to the strongbox at the foot of his bed, and tried to ignore the way the room spun. It was easier to navigate that way, and after all; a man could go mad if he let a room give him directions.
Written by Simon in the Packages thread; that turn of phrase just tickled me the right way.

My hat off to Nav re the Los Malecón thread so far.
I have never sweated so much on a 'man gets a drink at the bar' post in my life. Nav's narration of the thread has generated a very real and present sense of danger to Cristobal at every turn, and it's already been one hell of a ride.
