Location: The Gulf of Ayana, southern portion.

Thread starting date: Summer, 122PW
Summary: Kohya Island is a small piece of land located within the Gulf of Ayana. The Hazanyii raven shifters who live there have noticed significant changes in the landscape, especially in the water and surrounding land. The disappearance of a woman, mother of Soot and Ash, had the Hazanyii worried that a legendary beast has returned. Soot and Ash have been sent to the Western mainland to scout for potential disturbances.
Other Notes: If you do end up wanting to join with a character, be aware that Soot and Ash do not speak Eyropan, so character interactions in general will be more difficult.

Gwaha, I knew there was a good reason to save the plotterings! Here's some rather old plot ideas from when we first started discussing the thread, to use or discard as desired!
One adult dragon in the gulf
The baby tadpole sea serpents are swarming in the gulf. They're eating the fish and causing erosion along the coast and the islands.
The parent dragon ices things along the coasts and is causing harm to predators (expand on), which in term allows pests to run wild.
Coastal tribes are going inland, but as relations with interior tribse aren't the best it is causing warfare.
The island cultures are left essentially helpless.
Nest/hoard containing initial food/magic supply for serpents, destroy it and babies die?
Disappeared tribes wound up getting frozen and put into the nest.
island people guarding a polished rock they think is an egg from the mother dragon
Try to hatch the rock and it shatters
Women lay eggs
twins have handicapped brother -- enhanced instincts or visions, can't shift properly gives him pain. other egg siblings died.
mother frozen by dragon, father grim, silent and stressed. Used to be playful and a storyteller
ancestor worship/veneration
gatherings at the egg

Oh, aside from that I think maybe once they're changed into human form Ash might have something to tell him from what she saw. He's not terribly observant, and he's pretty cocky, so it's highly probable he missed something on the long flight over.
