Greetings!

I'm Alyson, a 24 year old proud nerd, wife, mother, fur-mama, Trekkie, artist and writer. I'm hoping to turn as many of those into paid professions as possible.

I've been playing PBP for quite some time, though there's been few truly active places to join since the demise of MSN Groups ((RIP Star Trek: TFFAB!)). I'm good for at least a post a day, unless something's wrong. When it comes to fantasy, I tend to use PBP to help flesh out the characters I use for my own stories, set in my own "world", Anithne, that I've been vicariously living through since the age of twelve. ^_^

Well, my first Thar Shaddin character has just been approved! Anyone need me to make someone dead for them?

Hi. New members are required to make a sacrifice to the moderators, and it's my turn, so I'll accept your firstborn posted airmail to China. I will raise it on donkey meat and mangosteen and send it back if it turns out ugly. Also I'm not sure if "fur-mama" means your child is a babyfur, but if it is you can keep it and send me a waffle iron instead.

Also! I hope it's not too disappointing to learn that most PCs aren't chompin' at the getting-assassinated bit. There might be someone looking for a plot to get an NPC offed, and for that I would check out the characters-available-for-plots thread. I myself have an idle character I'm thinking of putting back out there, so that's what I'll do in a second.

So welcome! Please do not forget to poke air holes in the packaging because the Chinese postal service will totally withhold my parcels if the same thing as last time happens again.

Yeah, I come into this knowing full well that my character's "profession" is probably going to be less important and involved in any actual gameplay than, say, a guard or a Cleric or whathaveyou. This is actually a good thing. I need to develop her persona beyond this depressed, angsty young adult.

Hey, I'm no furry... I just have animals. One adorabibble Olde English Bulldogge named Hoss, and an epic black cat named Ulthar (H.P. Lovecraft FTW). Oh, and about eleventy billion fish that won't quit reproducing.

I grew up on TNG, and it's still my favorite. Yes, Nemesis angers me at points, and I hate that Data's dead, but it had to happen eventually, I guess. And oh, yes, Commander Don'atra is smokin'. And I'm not even gay.

No no, not nemesis. That movie was good up until they had to bludgeon me with the fact that data's not really dead because he uploaded his brain into that other brain, or whatever it was (I forget) and it sings that song. I was proud of noticing that before they made it obvious. That was :[

Hi. I'm Jack. I live in Washington and I'm in the Navy. I'm 22 and I am going to attempt to RP here although I must warn that due to going out to sea that my character may have long absences. I will be playing Ceallach, a hardened soldier of fortune that's had a recent run of bad luck. During the times that I'm gone, I really don't have a problem if people give him small cameo appearances or make use of him as long as it doesn't involve him getting killed or doing something completely out of character. Given that his loyalty is up for the highest bidder, that's not much of a restriction.

I'm really looking forward to writing with everyone. I really love big epics and giant battles but I'm also a big fan of more subtle character development.
