Sated in unexpected ways, Ree lay languid and loose-limbed against Nasku. When they had finished, Nasku hadn't pulled away from her. Instead, they lay nestled together. Ree allowed her self to enjoy the moment, the view, and the after-math of the sensations he had afforded her.

Nasku's bicep was bunched into an effortless muscle when he tucked a hand behind his head. The hollow of his shoulder and left arm made a perfect resting spot for her head. The bedding was in disarray, most of it hanging off one corner of the bed. The sheet covered his hips, leaving his stomach and chest bare. Without effort, his stomach was lightly etched with lines of muscle that clenched when she drew her fingers across them. His chest was firm, rising and falling with even breaths. She could hear his heart beating, healthy and strong.

When she looked up, she found him looking at her. A slight smile played on his lips. Something inside her did a little flip-flop.

Then, as if on cue, Ree's stomach growled.

A self-aware, chagrined little smile brought dimples to light.

"Hrmm, maybe we should have breakfast and see what activities they have available today?" Though really, laying next him enjoying the sunlight seemed like the most appealing option. Except ...

Her stomach made another small protest of sound.

There was just something about Ree.
Nasku couldn’t quite place a finger on what it was but the woman fascinated him. And it wasn’t just that she was very willing to experiment in bed than he had anticipated considering her inexperience and shyness.

Smiling down at Ree, it quickly turned into a grin when the woman’s stomach butted into their enjoyable moment of silence.

“Would you like to eat something?” he inquired, a hint of mischievousness creeping into the question and a particular part of his body gave a little twitch, before he pushed all thoughts of Ree’s lips on his … No! Not going there now. She needs to rest, he scolded himself.

“Breakfast sounds like a wonderful idea,” he murmured instead as he gently pulled her up into a sitting position when he righted himself. “We’ll see about.. activities, later,” he added, enjoying the slight blush that crept onto Ree’s cheeks at his obvious hint.

Placing a tender kiss on her lips, he got up off the bed and went to windows to open them wide before stepping into the growing heat and stretching, uncaring about who might see. When he inadvertently looked to the side, a big smile formed on his face. The servants here were truly amazing.

A fully prepared breakfast, or was it lunch?, table had been set for them, and it all looked as though it had appeared only moments before. The champagne and orange juice looked chilled and the plates were covered with special lids that kept everything at the perfect temperature.

He popped back into the room to announce: “Brunch has been served, my lady. So whenever you’re….” He stopped, struck stupid by her appearance, though he had merely left her seconds ago, after having thoroughly worshipped every part of her body most of the night and the morning hours.

“Would you like some company in the shower?”

Ree's gaze trailed after Nasku as he moved to stand naked, outside.

She'd been emboldened yesterday, because though the risk of being seen was great, they still had the illusion of privacy. Here, Nasku strode out like the nobleman he was without a care as to who might see him. Ree smiled, amused. He wore his title well.

Slipping from the bed, she moved toward the bathroom. Her muscles, used in ways she'd not used them before, her womanhood, too, ached in pleasant ways. She had been well and throughly loved. Ree clasped her hands and stretched her arms above her head, working out the stiffness. This, just in time for Nasku to turn and pause, as if drinking her in.

Ree nodded, a pleased smile curving her lips.

"I'd like that."

Nasku let his eyes drift closed, savouring the sunshine and the freshly pressed orange juice, feeling thoroughly sated. The shower had been exquisite. It was a good thing that the water was probably heated by magical means one way or another as they would otherwise have exhausted the reservoir completely by the time they were done “washing”.

The staff had been kind enough to also leave a list of the day’s activities which Nasku hadn’t been inclined to look at yet though. He still wasn’t, but he figured they should probably do a little something else and leave the bedroom for at least a few hours. After all, Metarie was a hard working woman and she more than deserved a decent vacation, and that meant doing things outside of the bed. Or the shower, he thought with a grin.

“Is there anything in particular you fancy doing today?” he asked as he reached for the leaflet to quickly peruse what was on offer. Before he actually read the words though, he added: “A walk along the beach maybe?”

He briefly looked at the leaflet and then thought better of it. Reaching across the table, he handed the piece of paper to Metarie. “Why don’t you choose,” he said with an encouraging smile.

Ree smiled, content to lounge at the table in the aftermath of being well and truly loved multiple times over the last day and a half.

"A walk sounds lovely," she repled as she took the flyer from Nasku. So many options!

"Nasku..." Ree's eyes had widened and she looked up at the man. "Look..." She turned the flyer back toward Nasku and scooted closer to him.

One of the sketches showed what looked like a oval sitting on top of a woven basket. The picture was colorful and the print said simply,

"Do what only birds do! Come fly with us in a tethered hot air balloon!"

"Can you imagine? Flying... ? Oh, and... swim with dolphins?" Truly the place was fantasical. Ree wasn't too sure about the snorkeling thing, but just being able to see sea creatures would be wondrous enough.

"I'm not sure about the swimming part, but it looks like a day cruise along the coast is offered." Ree looked up at Nasku, only to find her breath taken away by him once again.

"What do you think?"

“Hmm, all of it sounds lovely. Flying, I’m not so sure about, but the day cruise sounds very enjoyable. You can still always decide on the swimming and snorkelling along the way. I think?” Nasku frowned and looked at the brochure more closely again. Seeing he hadn’t completely misinterpreted things, he sat back in his chair and smiled at Metarie.

“Looks like we found our activity for the day!” A sudden thought occurred to him then, and he raised his eyebrow questioningly at Ree. “Unless you’re thinking you’re going to dress me up in that bathing suit again?” Not that he minded showing off his body, but he’d rather be a little more clothed when other people were around.

Then again… if she were to put on that bathing suit again… Nasku felt a slight stirring in the southern regions, something he figured wouldn’t happen for a while, considering how they’d spent so many hours up until now.

Clearing his throat, Nasku shook off any improper thoughts and focused his attention on Ree’s plate instead. “Have you had enough to eat?” With the subtitle clearly being “Are you ready to go explore?”
Now that they were ready to go out and had decided on something lovely, he actually couldn’t wait. As much as this was a vacation where he would do his best to get Metarie to relax, he was definitely enjoying it as well, and snorkelling wasn’t something he had done before. Definitely something to look forward to! And Ree in a bathing suit...
Mind. Gutter. Permanently.
Or so it seemed. Nasku could only inwardly shake his head at himself, but with a smile.

Ree smiled, leaning toward Nasku, to view the flyer with him. Turning her gaze to him, she allowed herself a leisurely look.

"I don't think you can swim without swimming trunks. So, yes. Absolutely. You will have to wear those."

Chin on palm, Ree wore a cat-that-got-the-cream expression. She nodded.

"Mmhm. Let's go." Ree pushed back from the table and moved toward the room. In the room, she slipped out of the robe she wore, skin bared to his view.

Why be shy?

She lifted the bikini top and slipped it on.

"Would you mind?"

Ree held up her hair so Nasku could tie the bikini at her back.

With that settled, Nasku sighed a little at the thought of having to wear the scrap of cloth called bathing trunks again, but he was obviously more than happy that Ree was going to slip into her tiny piece of fabric again as well.

Following her lead, he too got up from the table, walking behind her into the room. When her robe flitted to the floor, he groaned: “You’re killing me.” Nevertheless, he more than appreciated the view and was instantly imagining where he would…

“Yes, of course,” he replied, clearing his throat quickly and shaking off the visuals when Ree held up her hair so he could fasten the bikini top.

With fingers only gently brushing against her skin, he quickly did what he had to before he considered taking it off again right away. The effects this woman had on him… It was like he couldn’t get enough. Placing a soft kiss on her right shoulder, he murmured: “Maybe you should put on something else to cover this sinful piece of clothing a little bit or I’ll be fighting urges all day long.”

With a smile and another soft kiss, he bent to pick up the trunks which had randomly ended up somewhere on the floor the previous day. Dropping the loose trousers he had put on to sit outside for breakfast, he quickly slipped into the slightly less comfortable trunks and made a grab for a light shirt which was also on the floor, in a different spot.

The resort was still fairly quiet and peaceful, despite the advanced hour in the day, as they made their way to the water. A decent number of people had gathered at the small dock where a beautiful boat was sitting on the water and it looked as though Ree and Nasku were just on time to be ushered on board with everyone else where a complimentary glass of fresh juice was offered to them. Seating arrangements were in the plenty ranging from well-padded benches to huge pillows and blankets draped on every available surface of the boat. “Wherever you want,” he whispered into Metarie’s ear.

Ree turned her head, casting a look at Nasku from the corner of her eye.

"Will you, now?" The smile on her lips and the tone of her voice implied she might be considering not covering up, if that was the way things would be. Ree let her hair fall around her shoulders and moved around the foot of the bed. Nasku had dropped the bikini bottoms on the floor as he buried his face... her body responded to the thought.

Best not to think about that. Slipping on the bottoms, Ree wondered if Nasku's sense of smell was as keen as hers. Could he smell her when they were close?

For "Nasku's sake," Ree pulled on another sundress, covering all but her shoulders and shins. She smiled shyly at the proprietary look of appreciation Nasku granted her.

"I've packed the sun lotion, but have another bottle here. I thought we could apply some now just to be safe?" Nasku's fair skin would burn easily if left exposed for too long. Even applying the screening lotion took its toll.

Nasku's whisper was seductive. Had he meant it to be suggestive or was she just so taken with the man that she couldn't help herself?

"I... shall we sit near the viewing glass?"

The boat offered a clear window into the water below. The water was a crystalline blue, deceptively clear, making it seem as the the seabed was closer than it appeared to be. Ree imagined seeing distances was reserved only for those whose eyes were developed for it.

"I wonder how far fish can see underwater?" As The boat pulled out from the dock, a tour guide smiled and touched a charm at her neck.

"Thank you for joining us today! My name is Arianna and I 'll be your tourguide today. Your crew are Captain James Belmont, First Mate Spiro Antelitus, and Second Mate Arnie Farris. Mario and Angelus are your servers today. The Princess is a converted fishing boat offering a glimpse of the world below the waves. The waters..."

Underwater seagrass swayed gently in the current. Within it small, silver and black striped fish darted around.

Ree gasped and squeezed Nasku's hand. A turtle effortlessly swam beneath the clear bottom, turning its head to peer at the boat in curiosity before moving on.

The tour was truly fascinating. Not only because of the many fish and other sea animals they glimpsed but because he enjoyed seeing the look of delight on Metarie’s face when she spotted yet another animal.
The ship’s crew was very observant and their glasses were never even completely empty before one of the waiters came by to ask if they wanted a refill or something else. About an hour into the ride, Mario also dropped off a small platter of fruit, nuts and other food that was easy to nibble while the focus was elsewhere.

The first turtle they saw wasn’t the first one and the further out into the bay they went, more animals they encountered. The clearness of the water was impressive and both of them, along with other participants of the day cruise, were regularly exclaiming in wonder at the sights presenting themselves to them under water. The colours were fascinating and Nasku found himself a little jealous of Mother Nature’s ability to create most beautiful sceneries.

Arianna kept up a running commentary with explanations on the water life, the area surrounding them, and much to his surprise, it didn’t bother him at all. And it wasn’t as though she was talking nonstop. There were moments where she just let the people enjoy the view for themselves.

“Are you enjoying yourself?” he asked during one of these pauses, selecting a piece of fruit from the platter before turning back to face Metarie. He had mostly kept his hands to himself during their hours on the boat so far, not wanting to be too possessive and leaving Metarie the freedom of coming to him whenever she wanted to.

Just then, Arianna announced that they were reaching the destination of the highlight of their cruise. The dolphins’ favourite bay along the coast.

Anyone would know the pair were together. It would be obvious in the way they brushed against each other; in the way Metarie leaned into Nasku, breast brushing against the back of his arm or fingertips brushing against his thigh to get his attention. The touches weren't intentional machinations, just a natural closeness engendered by the intimacies they had shared.

"We're approaching Dolphin Cove. Is everyone ready?" A bustle of excitement moved through the crowd and Ree grinned at Nasku.

The boat slowed and eventually the motor stilled, leaving the boat rocking gently on the swells. The clear blue water was misleading, the bottom seemed close enough to touch although at least twenty feet separated the bottom of the boat and the seabed below them. Sea grass swayed and seahorses clung to strands, blending in as they settled. Silvery and colorful fish darted through the water and at least two turtles glided nearby.

The assembled crowd waited in anticipation for the dolphins to arrive. Would they come?

"We typically see a pod of dolphins this time of year in the cove. They come to hunt for shellfish. If you all will give your attention to Marcello, he'll demonstrate a fantastic new technique."

The crowd turned to look at the tanned, muscular man.

"Our resort has recently obtained a master water craftsman who had developed an underwater breathing apparatus. The apparatus allows you up to 30-minutes underwater without the need to surface. Coupled with these enhanced goggles, you can now swim with the dolphins."

An exclamation of excitement ran through the crowd.

"Do I have any volunteers?"

Ree's hand shot up.

"I'd like to try!"

She turned to grin at Nasku.

"Shall we?"

An underwater breathing apparatus? Nasku’s eyebrows shot up as he heard what this fabulous invention could do. Now he had never been one for technology, music and theatre being more his thing, but he had to admit that was quite impressive, and really quite interesting in the current circumstances.

He hadn’t exactly planned on going in the water but just relaxing and letting Ree do her thing, then again, he hadn’t known they could actually really swim with the dolphins. He’d thought they’d just observe them.

How could he resist that radiant smile on his companion’s face?! The woman was so excited about the prospect of trying this new adventure that he immediately found himself returning the smile with a “Let’s do it!”.

A few more people volunteered, some quicker than others. A few more were still hesitating about whether or not they wanted to give this a try, while others were shaking their heads with insecure expressions on their faces. Maybe not all of them could swim.

Arianna started handing out an apparatus to the volunteers. There weren’t many, but there were enough to go around for all those who really wanted to do this. After a few instructions on how to use the apparatus, Arianna grinned at them.

“Now, go and have fun! Remember to check the wrist band on a regular basis to make sure you aren’t too far down when your time for underwater breathing is up.”

A couple of splashes followed and the first of the volunteers were in the water and then it was their turn.
