The sound of Kaleb's voice shook Arshad out of his stupor. For a pained moment he simply stared at the young thief before his words seemed to reach him. He nodded, with a quick to make sure that the drunk was still asleep, he pulled himself onto his feet motioning for Kaleb to follow him.

Re: Thieving Standards
After finishing the stew, and generously tipping the cook, he set off out of the half rotted old building and started down the street at a relaxed contented pace. About half way down the street, near a recently closed smithy he took a moment to check the suns position in the sky. It looked about ...

Re: Thieving Standards
As he pushed open the half rotten door, its heavily rusted hinges creaking and threatening to snap off, a warm rich scent poured into his nostrils. He could make out only a few of the wafting aromas, freshly stewed potatoes and roasted chicken laced with garlic, and fresh cut onions. As he moved ...

Re: Thieving Standards
"Alright, it seems like we got a plan." Speaking with a strong sense of assurance. He fingered the hilt of his short sword for a moment and looked up at the sky to get a sense of time before continuing.

Re: Thieving Standards
The whole time Kaleb was formulating his plan Arshad kept a worried eye on the massive troll looming above him. He'd heard plenty of tails about them, mostly from the ancient tales the older men would tell around the campfire. The old man Fahri even once claimed to have seen a few of them off in the ...

Re: Thieving Standards
Arshad grasped Kaleb's hand with bone crunching firmness, and shook so vigorously he could hear his teeth rattle.
"My name is Arshad." he said attempting to imitate Kaleb's subtle smile, but instead producing a bizarre facsimile that showed a few too many teeth to look natural.

Re: Thieving Standards
Arshad listened with rapt attention as the thief passed on Elene's message. The moment he had finished, Arshad could feel a momentous weight being lifted from his shoulders. If what he had said was true... Then Elene had never truly left him, she didn't blame him. A sense of joy, a sense of mind ...

Re: Thieving Standards
He could hardly believe his ears... Elene?! Could it be that she was still... But... No... That was not possible, he had watched her die, right before his very own eyes. So then, how did this thief know her name? His mind raced, could it be? Was she still alive in some form? If this man knew ...

Re: Where'd your name come from?
hmm, Well, the name Arshad translates to, "he who is rightly guided.". I had orginally thought to name him Adskhan, which means prince, but I felt that was both to obvious, and didn't catch in my mind as easily as Arshad.

Re: Thieving Standards
Arshad strolled tiredly down the street still mostly empty in the early morning. He hadn't slept the whole night, having stayed up to guard some silly little shopkeeper who was making some sort of back door business deal with a shady figure in the back of his business. He was starting to contemplate ...

Re: Arshad
Agh! I was sure I had inserted the age part but I hadn't. Oh well, I fixed that, along with the part about Asia=Tan Xia. (I had seen Tan Xia used in the setting portion of the site, but it didn't show any info on it, so I simply assumed it was more the equivalent of China.) I changed a portion of ...
