Re: My My, What Fetching Horns You Have

The pitter-patter of rain began, strangely isolated. None of it struck the ground; instead, it fell in a narrow, direct column, from the sky to the drum. Trickles formed on the skin, flashing aquamarine as they moved of their own volition, and where the rivulets moved, they left behind them inky pat...

Re: Gold-plated

Righto, Zina, you can allow the drum to absorb as much of Morry as you wish. The finger's already done for, I figure. It'll be a crippled little twig from here on out. Beyond that, the further Morry holds contact, the greater the bond between the drum and himself will be. I'm good either way. I like...

Re: My My, What Fetching Horns You Have

The ephemera of the drum sucked in the atmosphere as, under Morry's careless handling, it fell to the ground from its box. A perceptive eye might have noticed the way the air rimmed it in vibrating discs of pseudo-light, or the way its as-yet amorphous frame seemed for a brief moment to mesh with th...

Re: The Home of Zou, Mentor and Musician

Zou himself, like the other two, was perhaps a tad eager to depart, and this caused him, as he was turning, to stumble. As luck would have it, the wooden pins supporting the potted tomato stalks that were positioned right by his doorstep, were angling towards the door. Had they been angled the other...

Re: The Home of Zou, Mentor and Musician

Well, yes, there was some real life stuff for a while there. I almost got kicked out of the country. Now, my muse is back, and I have ample time in which to post, but my problem with this thread has always been that, quite frankly, it's just boring as all hell. It has nothing to do with whose agenda...

Re: The Home of Zou, Mentor and Musician

...so yes, I kill off Zou? It could be a plot device, in the sense that you guys can feel free to do what you will his his house and worldly possessions. Perhaps something in his library sparks some clues, or a new adventure? And I can still play Czeyla, if you guys make your way to her somehow.

Re: The Home of Zou, Mentor and Musician

Well, something has to happen. Nothing has really happened in this story since we started it. If killing off Zou will make it interesting, then I'm willing to do that.

Re: The Home of Zou, Mentor and Musician

Hrrrm... what if Zou randomly dies? I can make a post about him slipping on a wet spot and having an upturned tree root go through his eyeball and skewer his brain? That would give the thread a bit of energy at least.

I'm here, but I'm having a bit of a crisis. I sit with the reply window open every night, on all of the posts that I owe. I just can't seem to type. :(

Re: The Home of Zou, Mentor and Musician

Zou picked up on Naris' impatience, and hurried up his preparations. When Aura offered to make more tea, he stood up. "I believe our friends are eager to walk their path of discovery, and I wouldn't want to keep them waiting. If you wish to remain here, please feel free to treat my quarters as your ...

Re: The Home of Zou, Mentor and Musician

"Defending oneself helps keep you from being a victim, but it doesn't mean that you need to go out and destroy those that might be a threat to you in the future. That's simple tyranny." Zou tilted his head in what was more of a bow than a nod, and smiled at Aura before rising up out of his seat. "W...
