Angren turned a calm eye to the smaller man when he was nudged. A half smile and a shake of the head was given to Win's comments.
The barbarian walked along after Win, silently listening to his explanations of the buildings they passed. While they remained close enough he had continued to glance ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
Angren stood, quietly examining an odd pole weapon. It had a shaft measuring nearly five feet long, and was ended with a blade very similar to that of his swords. He was momentarily distracted by Win calling his attention to the strange pistols. He simply gave a friendly smile and nod, and turned ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
Angren was still staring up at the wheel, following Win along, when something caught his attention. Something that sounded almost like musical notes ringing out from the woods far behind them. He stopped in place and turned towards the forest. He couldn't see anything.

Re: What's your character's theme tune?
Dude, those are some awesome choices xy, well except that one *coughbonjovicough*. Sorry, the song does fit Xyon, despite my dislike of the performer. And Fairies Wear Boots! Hells yeah man! *wants to play a stoner now* Hmmm....maybe Drake could meet Sweet Leaf in his search for Mr. Crowley. There's ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
Angren followed Win through the city, staying silent for the most part. "Aye, I have not seen a large city either. The coast and the inner lands are not kind to large settlements," he said, looking piteously at the homeless they passed. He did begin to speak, however, when they reached the hill ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
(OOC: Sorry I didn't see your post go up earlier Win, but I see it now :P )
Win hadn't asked about the barbarian's visit with the woman, no surprise given the hostility the woman obviously held for him. Instead he'd asked if Angren needed new armor or weapons. He had responded by patting the ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
It was actually quite a while later before Win came up to the room to retrieve him. Angren was a bit perturbed by his having slept late, but decided to let it go as Win didn't seem to mind. The sunshine and fresh air of the city helped bring his still restful mind around.

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
While Win took to the night sky the barbarian had a fitful night of rest. His dreams were a replay of memories years gone by. Memories he would have preferred to keep buried.
In his night time visions he was back in his days aboard the Aearhathal. The harsh wind blew across the floating ice and ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
Angren stood, staring patiently as Win made the bed in an upstairs room. He didn't have any clue as to what the man was doing, but he had asked him to follow him up here, so he waited. When it was announced that he would be taking the bed he was overjoyed, but did not want to seem an ungracious host ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
Angren nodded when the other man arrived at the correct version of his name. It was not often that someone who had trouble with his name got it correct so quickly. Usually they got it on the first try or never got it at all. He smiled warmly at Win when he was presented another glass of whiskey, and ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
Angren chuckled a bit at the mispronunciation of his name. "My name is In...Grin." He was pronounced his name slowly and willfully, hoping Win would catch it. With a shake of his head, a few of the blue glass beads making a tinking sound as they softly collided, he took up the retelling of his run ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
The big barbarian wasn't forced to wait long before the door was opened, and then hastily slammed closed again. He had expected such a reaction, but he couldn't just walk away if there was any chance that this man really was related to the girls he had seen being carried away by the bandits. So ...

Re: Like a Leaf on the Wind
Angren stared after the strange man that he had just met. He still wasn't used to meeting helpful people after having met so many that were unwilling to even speak to someone that was strange to this land.

Re: Temporary Assignment Duty
It just now dawned on me that you do something involving subs. :( TO YOUR BUNKERS AND BOMB-SHELTERS EVERYONE! That's almost as scary as a friend going up for what he's going for. Oh well, suppose I must just come to terms with my immanent doom. Know you're not gone yet, but good luck with everything ...
