Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

Ok, Kat. There has been much confusion in my mind since your last post. I assume nothing done by Amm means she is still frolicking in the water by the shore. Chezak is unlikely to hire a carriage to carry them, and I'd be surprised if Amm would also acquiesce to Arusa's demands. If Chezak reacts to ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

The days passed. Arusa complained, Amm drove them ceaselessly forward. The only reprieve he had was hunting game to compliment the meager food they were able to purchase from the villages and towns along the way. Nothing changed, and the days still passed.

He recognized the land they were entering ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

Erm ... we should have discussed that, apparently. I'll edit my post ... later. Tonight. I promise.

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

Chezak was packed and ready to go in moments. He began working on Arusa's items, strewn about near her prone form where she had left them out the night before. His hands moved swiftly, packing most of her items neatly, if less neat and folded than she would have done herself, before she was even ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

How long is it going to be until you're able to post? It sort of handicaps us, which is the unfortunate part. Can we auto Arusa's actions based on her previous interactions with us, or should we just write her out of the thread for now, and figure out a way we can get her back into the plot later?

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

So ... um ... 3 weeks. I kind of forgot I was in this thread. Anything from Jason? I mean, he logged in today on Arusa, but no post.

Should we just skip again?

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

The first night after Amm was injured, Chezak found them a different spot to camp. It wasn't far from town, but it was a small, comfortable clearing, again near running water. He left Amm to rest as he prepared the camp and dinner again, and they all dropped off to sleep. It was early morning when ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

I'm game. It's not like we've actually gotten anywhere, aside from our characters learning about each other, and perhaps a debt owed by a certain, stand-offish, child-sized individiual ... depending on how she views it. :P

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

Chezak's head came up when she took the spear from him. He watched her almost stalk from the room, and knew there was some message in the way she moved. He thought it had something to do with the word 'useless', but he didn't know if it was meant for him, Arusa, or the healer.

She disappeared out ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

Chezak slipped in the door after Arusa. He heard Amm's frustrated cry for her "spear", and quickened his steps, slipping past Arusa and into the room Amm had been resting in. The healer was backed up by the door, and Amm was glaring at him, small, child-like creature that she was, seated on the bed ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

Chezak shook his head as Arusa disappeared back to her room. He leaned back in his chair, not showing his desire to leave, taking a few small sips at his tea while he waited. She wasn't gone long, and he left his tea half finished as he stood. He indicated for the boy to lead the way, tossing an ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

I've noticed Arusa lurking around the forums of late, so I'm wondering if/when she's going to post. I know I'm not the best at being on time, particularly with being in school, but I usually don't make anyone wait past a week-ish.

Should we wait a little longer? Should we just skip her and move ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

Chezak pursed his lips in thought. He supposed that was as good of an answer as he would get from Arusa, but it wasn't really good enough.

However, before he could reply, the door swung open, and a boy not much older than sixteen rushed in, letting the door shut behind him. Chezak's attention was ...

Re: Death, the Dance, and Destruction of Humanity

Hey guys,

So I figure the boy will find Chez and Arusa in Chez's next post, once I'm done whatever Chez has to say to Arusa's reply. So that allows both Arusa and Amm to post one more time before they all join back up at the healer's.

I took liberty with Amm's probably weakness from being healed ...
