I just did this for Julen. Guess what? He's a Lawful Good Human Fighter. How shocking!

Re: A Long Way From Home
Julen was mildly surprised when Jenica tugged at his hand, pulling him back toward her. But he didn’t resist. Instead, he stood still while she slid her hand into his unruly curls, holding her gaze for as long as she would allow him to. All that he needed so much to see, he found in her eyes. She ...

Re: Kalila
This is a good start, but I have a few comments and questions.
If there is an entire kingdom of fae, it is probably located in the astral plane, rather than on any piece of physical land in Pal Tahrenor. It's fine if Kalila doesn't realize this. But you, as a player, should.
Rayne's parents are ...

Re: Reclaiming
As he entered Moyna’s house, Julen remembered when he’d first visited it, soon after Moyna and her granddaughter moved in. New arrivals to Shim were always regarded with some suspicion. While it was not uncommon for young people to leave the village and seek their fortunes in the city, natives of ...

Bah! Wuss! We will smite you with our llloooonnnggg posts! :P
Seriously, sorry about that. Lyl and I get into a rythym and I don't think we realize how hard it is for other people to match it. I'll try to keep my posts shorter when they involve conversation. Hey -- shorter posts mean less work for ...

Re: A Long Way From Home
Sometimes a single word means everything. Sometimes it hits the heart harder than any eloquent speech ever could. Dying. Yes. Lover. Your mother is dying. Yes, I’ll be your wife. What is it, lover?

Re: Lightsword Saga
Sorry I didn't weigh in on this sooner -- hubby got obsessed with a project yesterday, so I couldn't get on the computer.
I think skipping Reia and NPCing Moyna this turn makes the most sense. I told Reia that the thread wasn't going to be moving at lightning speed, but this is a pretty long delay ...

Re: Reclaiming
Julen returned Reia’s smile while attempting to look as reassuring as possible. He fully understood how unsettling it might be to open the door to your house and find a group of armed warriors standing there, especially given the current mercenary problem. And Reia’s muteness would make her a ...

Re: Prejudice in Marn
I agree that no player should feel silly for depicting active racism against their character -- especially when their character is a fairy. I know that, at one point, Lyl asked Frug what would happen if Uluki tried to get a healing license (as Karsimir had done). His response was that she'd be ...

Yeah, that was kind of a tease!
Am I the only one who finds Nic disturbingly sexy? Yes? I see. *Hurriedly shuffles offstage*
Seriously, I am really enjoying the whole Nic/Jenica interaction. Fake Julen feels your pain, Nic! Darn vampires...

Yeah, I'm totally good with Angren joining us. Sigvard will enjoy having another Northlander around.
