Chronomantique

he Chronomantique family are synevives in Marn. They are a politically significant family.

The Chronomantique family is primarily a business family, having few dealings with Marn's politics. They originated in Keltaris and still have strong family ties there. Their trade of choice seems to be the creation, trade, and sale of expensive and exotic dinnerware -- and to all appearances business appears to be booming. Though they do not seem to be politically inclined, it is rumored they have secret, secondary connections.

The Chronomantiques are a small family, and as a result they appear on the surface to all follow the same business ideals and goals. They are fairly well regarded by most of the upper class; their dinnerware being quite the fashion statement on the party circuit. Their lack of overt politics and their popularity as artisans makes them regular invitees to all sorts of events among the upper class.

The Chronomantiques are primarily allied with the Calders. Their primary enemy is the Cottrel family.
